Anybody Ever use 'HDD Health 2'?

Hey guys,

I just read an article about 'HDD Health 2' from PanteraSoft. It says it monitors your hard drive and will alert you if it detects any problems or indications that it's going to die. Anybody use this program? Does is actually work? Thanks!

A typical hard drive can last for years and years. Probably half the time when they fail or in the process of failing they give their own advanced notice with noises etc...

So it could be a very long time before you find out if this software really works or not.

There is no substitute for backing up critical data.
