.zip saving as .asp file

I'm having a stranger problem. I am trying to download some zip files for Everquest ( a user interface mod). Whenever I try and download them they are saving as a .asp file instead of .zip. I have tried this on several computers before and not had this problem. I am using XP Home for an O/S. Any ideas?

Have you tried renaming them to change the extension? Sometimes that will work. I have also seen situations where they are saved as filename.zip.asp. Removing the .asp at the end will solve the problem.

Problem solved! I had to go in an enable viewing of the file extensions to begin with to change them. After changing the extension I was able to unzip and install. Thank you
