Browse you cd and try to find Cab1.cab. After you have found it try coping to your hard drive. If it doesn’t copy then your cd is probably damaged.

CD is brand new. Did that copy thing with no problem. I was able to install it but I sent it to wrond HD. So I remeoved it and havent been able to reinstall in like 20 tries. Sometimes it reaches 5% sometimes it reaches 96%. I keep messing various settings in virtual memory but the POS wont install. Maybe im not at the right place anyways . Is this it?

You have enough hard drive space? Try coping the whole cd to disk then installing it?

Try installing the CD on another computer, Then you be able to see if its the disk is damaged or its a computer problem.

Hi there,
Ok use the following settings for you XP..
As low use half or a Quarter and for full use the full amount of your ram..
this means if you have as example 128 mb ram then set the minimum to 64mb swap and set the max to either 256 or 128...
this should take care of the virtual mem
then use REGCLEANER to scan your registry and take out all entries which have to do with the privous install. Also check the hard drive for displaced files from the game - especially in the TEMP folders of the XP drive !!! remove them .. then defrag and you will see it will install just right..
