What is MSN8?
I'm dumping my Adelphia cable and going with Verizon DSL. They give you an install disk with MSN8 on it. What exactly is MSN8? Microsoft's version of AOL??
I realize I don't need to use the software on the install disk as I can just plug the DSL modem into my router and away I go; I did just that for my daughter when she went with Verizon DSL about 6 mos ago. But I'm curious why they include MSN8.

Yep, MSN is basically Microsoft's version of AOL. The program itself is like IE just with more buttons and MSN Messenger (MS's version of AIM).
