iso.exe?????

How come I can't execute the iso.exe file. Do I need a programm or something. Or what do I do to open it?

it's just .iso hopefully, and it's an image of a cd...so that if you wanted to burn a cd, say an install disk or something...you could use a program like FireBurner to burn the image exactly as the original cd is...so it'll autoinstall and boot and all that cool stuff...you can't read them at all...just burn them with a good burning program...

So if I burn it onto a cd I will be able to install it?

You've got to use the proper tool to burn it. Fireburner or Nero would be your best choice. Fireburner will recognize the ISO and burn it properly. With Nero you'll have to select burn image from the file drop down menu and then point Nero to the file.

you'll be able to view whatever is in the .iso because it will be on the cd...so yes, if there are install files which with an iso most likely there will be, you will be able to install them

The file is Windows_XP_Pro.iso

so if I download Fireburner and burn it onto a cd I can go to my neighbors pc and intall XP on her computer?

Read the rules.

iso.exe doesn't surprise me either, don't be surprised when virii and trojans pop up after you run it like the kiddo who renamed it to that intended.
