Can't print a PDF

Hey amigos!

I have a problem with a PDF file, I believe it has printing and copy restrictions.

I need to either be able to print or copy the text. Teh file info says it has a 40-bit RCA4 (acrobat 3.x, 4.x).

How can I get around this.

Thanks for your help.

Be sure that when the PDF file is on the screen that you hit the print button in Acrobat Reader and not try to print from your internet browser.

Thanks amigos

Got it! It's called Advanced PDF password recovery. I can't recall the company who developed it, but it worked instantly to unlock the encrypted PDF.

The same company makes the SW for retrieving lost passwords from other applications, including Win XP.

Guys, a PDF, encrypted is done so by the creator to restrict access to the contents at the discretion of the creator. This may be as a restriction on printing, or a restriction of printing or any other extraction. Discussions to the contrary are against the rules of this forum.
