Makeing AIDA fit on a floppy.
Ok, I'm trying to cut out the unnecessary files. I'm following these directions, but haveing a problem with the language files.
Q:"The Features page reflect that both AIDA32 Network Edition and AIDA32 Personal Edition can fit on a single floppy disk, but the size of the packages seem to be over 3 MB. How can this fit on a single floppy disk?" A: "A couple of files including the not necessary language modules (*.LNG), all database schemas (DB*.*), all AIDA32 plugins (AIDAPLUGIN*.*), the web links file (AIDA32.WEB) and the XP icons module (AIDA_XPICONS.DLL) should be removed before copying the files to the floppy disk. In the case DirectX information is not required, it is recommended to remove the DirectX module (AIDA_DIRECTX.DLL) too." There are 29 in total but the names are all abreviated into a 2 letter name. Which language file is the english one? |

I use Belarc Advisor when I'm on the road - that fits easily on a floppy without cutting files.
