count your blessings
you really do not want to use kasa on your new system.
instead use kasa lte,
but be aware it is the fastest way to get a virus

Find out the port that Kazaa runs at, and somewhere in the router configuration, tell it to have that port # open.

opening a port is like opening the front door and saying here I am , come get me, I would not recommend doing that.

get kasa lte instead

that may be true , but I have several networks and never have any ports open, and everything works just fine

first of all, doyou use a hub or router, the difference between both are that a hub has no firewall and usually routers do.

Seems like u have a router...
I had no problems setting up my system so kazaa runs easily on it, u might wanna go back to your router's config page and reset the normal settings from d-link when it's out of the box, if not working try resetting it... hold back reset button for 10 sec.

Kazaalite will work on port 80 (same as your browser).
Here's the complete lowdown on ports and stuff for Kazaalite: http://doa2.host.sk/help/connection.htm
