I like winDVD simply because it has a "always on top" option

I have both the ATI DVD Player and Power DVD 5. I prefer Power DVD 5.

But I'm beginning to prefer to rip DVDs by hooking my home DVD unit to the computer through the S video. It's easier to find the correct subtitiles, etc. I'm ripping to create VCDs.

PowerDVD because it has more options like WinDVD. But I like PowerDVD 4, not 5 coz PowerDVD has too many bugs.

PowerDVD

It's a good, solid and full program.

FF, I have never had a problem veiwing DVD's on both the monitor and TV at the same time using PowerDVD 4 (which is something I have grown to love), and I watch a lot of DVD's. I haven't seen a prompt saying that the disk is copyrighted even with WinDVD, I just can't get it to work with the dual output.

The most recent one I have come across that wouldn't let me use TV-out was Gladiator.

And yes, I am running version 4.

I like PowerDVD, it came with my DVD drive (I got WinDVD with something else, can't remember though), and I had some problems with DVD's skipping with WinDVD, but it worked fine as soon as I used PowerDVD.
