Answer Machine
Ive heard that there is software which can act like an answering machine for your phone.
Does anyone know what they are called, and which one may be best? Thanks |

Ive dled it all for the voicecallcentral.com one, but it keeps saying my modem doesnt support voice, but im trying to use my 56k internal modem, but ive never used it before on this pc as ive got a bb modem, so i think i may be selecting the wrong one. How do you find out what your modem is through my computer or something?
thanks |

If it can't detect a voice capable modem, it's not going to work.
Device manager should be able to ID your modem - if you don't have one listed in the Modems category, the drivers aren't installed. |

Nothing built into Windows for this, just a fax client.
