Dunno what the heck it is, but it has and Intel chip on it:
SB82558B L832TJ39 And this numbers on a label: 0090271049DE 37827 689661-004 And this printed on the card: FCC ID: EJMNPDBACH4 And another chip: Bel 9834B-S1 S558-5999-46 I'm hoping this isn't a proprietary card. I think the onboard net card on my IBM PC Server 330 went bad because I can't even access the router it is connected to. Of course Windows says "the device is working properly.

Your product has been discontinued since Feb 2002. So hold on tight to your drivers! They no longer exist on Intel site. Apparently, SB82558B was the magic number. Driverguide.com is very comprehensive and has an active community in collecting a database of all drivers old and new.

The 689661-004 number comes up on google as an Intel ethernet card, apparently for Linux (?), but I'm having trouble finding a driver. I'll keep looking and post back if I find something.
edit: try this link. http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scri...Prod_nm=689661 Last edited by Panama Red; 11-06-2003 at 01:04 AM. |
