Question Nero Burning Rom 6 Ultra Edition Help

I just installed Nero Burning Rom 6 Ultra Edition and am having a little trouble burning my first CD I open the program and copy my list of files/songs I want to burn on to the CD and when I click next it comes up with and options box with some diffrent things in it one of them gives me the option to write the CD in "Track-at-Once" (which I was told was best) or in "Disc-at-Once" so I choose "Track-at-Once" and it comes up with a Save screen asking where I would like to save a file called "Image.nrg" well I just put it on my desktop and save it there and it continues on like it is burning the CD and it finishes and says the CD was succesfully burned but when I open the disc drive the CD is empty. So I got to my desktop and double click on the "Image.nrg" file and it opens up Nero and says "This is not a valid Nero file."

Can someone please help me with this I really want to burn a CD?

Thanks,
David Nesgoda

You have to select your output device as being your CD-RW. Right now you have selected your out put as 'Image' and it is burning it to your hard drive.

I always use Disc-At-Once

Try using the Nero Express interface - it's a lot easier for novices to use and understand.

Then your burner is defective or not supported. Does the burner read CD's ok?
