Question DivX

I am kinda new at making DivX. Does anyone have any insight as to what software I should use. Right now I am trying (somewhat unsuccessfully) to learn how to use Gordian Knot. I am just interested in anything that anyone can tell me about DivX from making them to making them better.

Thanx!!

I use Dr. Divx, but you might be looking for something free.

What are you converting to DivX?

You can use Super DVD Ripper to convert DVDs to DivX

Does Super DVD Ripper go straight from DVD to DivX and no real user interaction needed?

I am looking to make high quality DivX with some easy way of doing it.

Yeah.... just choose option dvd to DivX. Leave it on at night and in the morning you will have it...

On my system it takes about 3-6 hours, depending on the movie.
