Question shutdown error

Every time I shut down my computer now this error keeps appearing (DDCman.exe application error). It also says "0x771c1c94" referenced memory at 0x00000008. Does anyone know how to fix this? It's not a big problem because my computer is working fine and it does shut down about 10 seconds after that error pops up.

Digital Distribution Channel Manager. This task is installed with Wild Tangent’s GameChannel software. Recommendation :
This task is often responsible for startup and shutdown errors, and also slow boot-ups – we recommend its de-installation via "Add/Remove Programs". However, read first about GAMECHANNEL elsewhere in these pages before making up your mind
Answers that Work

got this off the answers that work page. don't know the specific error, but it looks like it is a known issue

no problem. i will keep searching to see if there is a way to correct it without uninstalling, but that looks like your best bet.
