Install for Office 2003
I had a computer with Windows 98 and Office Professional 97. I bought a new computer with Windows XP and installed my old Office 97 on it. This included Outllook, which I never use and Outlook Express, which I do use.
I just bought Microsoft Professional 2003 Upgrade and want to install it. As you are aware, this version has no Express in it, which is fine because I want to use Outlook now, since I heard how good it is. I also want to do the complete install and remove the old Office 97 version including Outlook and Express. My question is: How do I get my old Express emails to transfer over to the new Outlook without losing them. The little insrtruction booklet you receive with Office 2003 does not address this question. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. |

I believe Outlook can import all Outlook Express settings, contacts, and mail folders. Outlook Express is essentially part of IE, not Office, and will not uninstall.
