make cd in dos?
I know the answer is probly no but here goes anyways. Is it possible to make a CD-RW in dos mode?

no, you need burnning software of some kind to burn a cd
|

Thought so. Didint hurt to ask. I just thought maybe becaus on CD-RW's you can put 1 file at a time it might be possible.

It would be possible, I think, if there was a burning software that run on DOS. But burning softwares came out when Windows was the norm, so there was never a burning software designed to run in DOS mode.

You can do it at a command prompt (not true DOS) if the CD-RW is formatted for packet writing with DirectCD or InCD.
