fqpissed .PES extension

This file extension belongs to programming involved with embroidry. I have a friend that recieved her .pes files on a cd-rom when they were supposed to come on a floppy.
We tried copying the files over to floppy, but they arn't working. Is there some conversion or format that needs to be done to get the .pes files on the CD to work with the floppys?
Any info at all will help greatly. Thanks in advance.

Copy the files from the CD to a hard drive then make sure the attributes under properties for the files are not read only. Then copy them to a floppy and see if they work.

We can get them on the floppy, but the programs don't work.

What do you mean "they don't work"? They don't work how or where? They don't work on the computer or is the floppy being used in the embroiderer?

PES files are simpley a graphical format used by certain sewing machines or embroiderers. They are not programs in and of themselves. In all honesty, if you can see the files on the floppy, they are probrably fine. I would contact the manufactuer of the sewing machine/embroiderer for help.

They weren't working in the sewing machine. I passed on the info about unchecking the "read only" box in thier properties. I have not heard back since this morning. I'll let you know if she got them to work.
Thanks for the help.
