Stinger, a stand alone anti-virus that will get rid of all the most commonly contracted viruses for use on the virus-infected system on which the resident av program was hosed.
LSPFix to repair spyware-damaged winsocks so you can get it back online to download updates for Spybot and/or AdAware. Easiest to have both on your CD so you won't have to wait for for those sloooow dialup connections to download the entire program. Hijack This! and CWShredder. The first to pinpoint startups that elude your other spyware untilities and the second to get rid of CoolWebSearch which nothing else can effective eliminate. |

My most valuable tool is a laptop with a modem, nic, floppy drive, and an external CD burner - no matter what you have preloaded on CD's, you will find you need something else!
