Winamp

I have winamp standard installed for some reason it has started restarting my pc after it has played maybe half a song . I did uninstalled and reinstalled winamp. I haven't used it in a while but what could cause this? win 98se , 40 gi hd, 512 ddr, 7000 radeon , a7v8x-x mobo.
The Cd's plays great on the win98se cd player. Thanks and hope your thanksgiving was as great as mine

Have you tried reinstalling winamp or installing the latest version.

The latest version is like 5.3 its soo nice I would reccomend getting it just to have it.

Where are you guys finding version 5x? I just went to winamp.com and they still only have 3x.

If you want to use Winamp, I'd recommend 2.91. 3 has some issues.

This is beta but its really good... I have had no problems with it.

Oh yeah... Stay away from 3. its junk.

Okay, thanks doobie. I know 3 is garbage, I DL'd it and installed it when it first came out, used it for about 15 minutes, then got it off my computer, and reinstalled 2.91. I've been using iTunes, but I'll give this one a try.

The problem probably is that v5 is a *beta*
