PopUp Stopper for multiple users

I noticed a few folks here recommended Popup Stopper by Panicware so I'm trying out the free version. But it only installs the systray control for my user profile. Here's what their web site says:

Please make sure to install the entire product on every user in order for the product to work for each user. You can visit our downloads page to download the file again, or copy the exe file to a disc and install on all users.

I take it this means to log on to each user & run thru the installation process. Wouldn't that mean that I would be overwriting the files in the Programs directory each time (I've got three other users on this box)? Seems like a strange & inefficient way just to get a workable control in systray. And how would I do this on the limited users without changing them to administrators temporarily? Anyone know of a better way and/or have any experience with this?

I've emailed PanicWare about this but haven't received an answer--guess they don't support the free version. Running XP Home. Thanks.

Yep. This is common with NT-style security and profiles.

You run the install exe "AS" the administrator.

Wow--thanks for the quick comeback glc. Really appreciate it. Still a bit confused about the last though. How do I run "AS" admin while logged in as limited? Am I given that option when attempting to install--thought limited couldn't install apps.

Hold the shift key down, right click on the exe, select "run as".

The Google Toolbar has an excellent pop-up blocker to. It also does not have to run in the background and it installs on all desktops at once.
