What OS are you using? In Windows XP, you can view hidden files by going to the Tools menu when browsing a folder (any, it doesn't matter) and clicking on Folder Options. Under the View tab, select Show Hidden Files and Folders. Now you should be able to see all the hidden files on your system. Just make sure not to delete any system critical files and be sure that what you are deleting won't affect your system. I would also run Spybot and Ad-Aware to make sure you've gotten rid of all traces of the program.
