Problem running program
hi, i just finished building my computer i am up to installing my os. When i type
E:\setup.exe it says this program cannot run is Dos mode. I am kinda stumped at what to do as of now..... bounty

What OS are you trying to install? You should be able to simply boot from the CD.

xp:he when i tried to boot from cd it said "insert correct boot media"

bounty are you running a legal, or pirated version of xp ?

100% oem legal version straight form newegg...im going to check to see if my cd-rom is the 1st bootable drive

 perfect some reason bios had cd-rom last to boot maybe i didint save the settings or what but it worked installing now thanks moster and docbounty |
