I dont know if anyone else who uses AIM has seen this, but weird links are popping up in people's profiles. The people whose profiles they are on have no idea they are there, they put themselves on when someone clicks the link on another profile. The first time this happened to me, an "Accept Download" screen came up. When i clicked "no" it had an error message that said to click yes, and brought back up the install screen. I clicked no a few times, then restarted my computer. Everything seemed ok, but then one of my friends clicked the link on the profile and accepted the download, which added a bunch of toolbars to his Internet Explorer, and asked me why i had that on my profile. Realizing it was there i deleted it, but the next time i got on aim it was there again. I ran adaware and deleted my cookies, temp, and temporary internet files contents.
The same thing just happened again with a different link and i stupidly clicked it, but the page didnt load all the way so i x'ed out of it....but now the link is stuck in my profile. I have run ad-aware twice with all options that make it scan deeper checked. Any ideas? Im getting really sick of this

What is the address of the link? (just hover your mouse over it)
There are a few of those pesky little things floating around.

Just got it off...when adaware didnt finish get rid of it i realized it must have been something running, and knowing all my running processes (there are only 2--old computer) i realized that it was that...it was a program called AV.exe (antivirus in startup of msconfig), so i turned it off in startup (still didnt work), then from one of the websites in the previous forum (thanks) it said to also remove it from the windows file of the HDD so i did that as well and it got rid of it...hopefully these things will end soon i have seen many frustrated people because of them.
