KaZaA Lite popups?

Is it possible KaZaA Lite itself is causing popups? I left it downloading and when I came back to my screen a couple of hours later Mozilla was open and there were three tabs of porn popups loaded

The computer was Locked at the time so it was a program which opened them, not a human

Any ideas?

Hey Jim, yeah it's possible...I would run Spybot and Ad-aware tho to see if you have anything else on the system.

Yeah I already do run those two on a regular basis, and Norton antivirus is always completely updated

Something dodgy is going on though. I only recently formatted this HDD...

Anyway thanks for your help I have left KaZaA open for the last couple of hours and no more popups have appeared, so maybe it was just a one-off

KaZaA is well known for that ,If you have severe spyware problems thats the source more than likely fatboyjim.

Anyway, according to HAL in another post, Kazaa Lite is being shut down

If you search for Kazaa Lite on google there's a message at the bottom of the page about removed entries, KMD complained to Google and got all entries relating to KLite deleted from the Google database
