iTunes help

Hello,question about the iTunes,does anybody know how to clear songs out of your library?my music folder got bigger and I wanted to put them in the library also so I added the whole folder again but it duplicates the songs,so now I have two of each songs in the iTunes library

Right click on the song and select Clear.

Ok, that raises a question from me. iTunes on the Mac is scriptable so I wrote a script for this exact problem, it removes duplicates automatically. So my question, is iTunes on a wintel platform also scriptable?
