Hey all,
I didn't really think I would have to ever ask a question on here, but now im really stumped on something... I love this old school game, "Battle Chess 4000" that runs in dos, and I have winblowsXP installed, and b/t the switch they dumped most of the dos stuff... and it needs EMM386 and Himem.sys to be loaded, and its not as easy as loading it in the GUI either... I downloaded EMM386 and himem, added them to the env variables and it didn't seem to load them. Theres no config.sys anymore, so how do I load something to do the EMM? Any ideas?? or is that a big no on my parade?

just a thought here, why not just set up a dual boot system and have a real dos system on another partition,
that way all your dos programs will run good. or even pick up a old cheep system and run dos on it for your dos games. |
