MSN Messenger 6.1 weird icons

Hi,

MSN Messenger's icons seem to have messed up on my machine

I've tried a repair install, restarting the machine, uninstall and reinstall but nothing seems to get them fixed

Pic attached to explain further (I have deleted the names from the picture, you can only see the icons)

Thanks,

Jim

Hi,
Try to create a shortcut to MS Messenger - (the only one Virus tool which Symantec will not trace) and then there try to change the ICON - so you will see if the ICON File of Messenger is partly destroyed..or not,,

Have done this. Icon file is fine, it is only the icons in the actual program itself which are screwed up

No idea!

Thanks again

Well that was weird, they repaired themselves for a couple of days and then went back to screwed

I'm at a complete loss. No doubt they will repeat their miraculous recovery one day...

Here's hoping
