Symantec AV Small Business questions.

Hi all,I have never dealt with Symantec AV Small Business v 8.1 before, and have a few questions:

The client has 5 computers, all sharing a internet connection through the server. 1 server running Server 2000, and 4 Workstations running 98 and 2000. How do I set up the AV on the server? Meaning, which item do I select to install to the server? Whcih item do I select to install to the remaining workstations?

Thank you,
Randy

It's pretty easy. Install the server on the Server and then push out the Symantec client to the workstations from the server. Make sure that you uninstall any virus program that is already on the workstations before you push it. I don't know for sure if the push will work on the 98 workstations. If it doesn't you can load from the CD.

Thank you mairving. I assume then that I have to share the hard drives on the workstations? And select the 'allow others to change my files' in network properties so the server can write to the other comps?

If you are running SBS 2000, aren't you running a domain. If you are not, then you would have to give access to push it.
