Disaster!
One of my computer has been completely wiped clean and when I go to install the OS I get a message saying the disk is corrupted and I tried it on another computer, I get the same message. But I have the recovery CD-ROM for the other computer but it says it cannot install it because it is not that system. I have no OS running on my computer. Is there a way just to install the OS from the recovery disk on to the formatted disk? Any info will help!

The Recovery CD will only work on the computer that it was installed on originally. What OS are you trying to install on the computer that has been wiped clean?

all you need to do is go into the bios and set the first boot device to be th cdrom drive, put the xp cd in the drive and boot the computer.
xp will automatically run the set up install program the xp cd is bootablel, just boot with it. |
