Move Program Files From D: To C:
if i have a program installed on my D: disk drive, how would i move it to C:?
for example. i have photoshop installed in D:/Program Files/Photoshop CS i want to move it to C:/Program Files/Photoshop CS how do i do that? |

You can just drag &drop them from the D: folder to the C: folder.

That ain't gonna work, as the registry will continue to look for it in D.

well, i did just drag it, and it does work, but i can't get the "photoshop cs" icon to the start menu. how do i do that?

it might work but it probably wont be classsed as installed as nuke said with the registry and dll sorta fings. havent you got the disk / installer files at hand???
