I have a 120 gb hard drive, one a single partition containing Windows 2000. I was told that I should split this up into several partitions (I am having to defrag my computer every day to keep fragments down).
How could I do this in windows using Disk Management? And what is Dynamic Disk (my hard drive is currently on basic disk) |

Boot again from the Windows 2000 CD for a new Windows install (not a repair). When you come to the point where you are asked to set up the partitions just delete the existing partition, create new ones, format them and install Windows 2000.
