Heres another cool program called audacity I found not to long ago it's a sound recording program

works real well and it's the best freeware sound recorder I've ever used

I would have to say that GOLDWAVE is the best sound recorder/editing program I have used.

sysinternals is an excellent site. I have one of their books on my shelf - Inside Windows 2000, I think.

Of course everybody here has been to GRC, but have you got Wizmo ?

I like it for ejecting media with fewer clicks. And the "turn off, monitor, turn up volume" for when I walk away and leave instant messanger on.

It will keep favorite icons assigned to links in your book marks
instead of in your temp internet folder
