webcam = noise

ok this is weird. Whenever I turn on my webcam a faint but annoying noise emits from my speakers. This has never happened before and does not make sense at all.

Also, when I turn my speakers loud (with no music on) there is static coming out. Perhaps interference?

The spks are Inspire 2.1's and the card an Audigy 2.

Did you try moving the cam as far away as possible from the speakers?

My speakers do that too and I don't have a web cam. I think it's because my speakers aren't top of the line, just some standard 5.1's from Creative. Some reviews just state that some speakers just make noise when turned up, so I know no way around it.

there is a bit of hiss that is negligible, however there is a louder 'pulse' of static at about once every second. It sounds similar to the sound you get when plugging in speakers. however this is very quiet, only noticeable with no signal and max volume.

I find the noise coming from my speakers is worse if someone has turned the volume down on the computer and then turns up the volume on the speakers to compensate this produces a very annoying hum on my cheap speakers.
