InCD for DVD+RWs?

Can InCD be used with DVD+RW so that the disc just functions as a hdd? If so, how can I change the settings in InCD so that it recognizes my new DVD-RW drive? It currently only recognizes my CD-RW drive. Do I need to reinstall it to allow it to detect? Thx.

Hi,
The latest version of Nero's InCD supports DVD+RW. Read about it here:

My version supports DVD-recordable, but as I noticed after andy pointed out, it says on the disc that the program is locked to the CD-RW it came bundled with... My LiteOn DVD burner came with Sonic MyDVD. It doesn't appear that the drag-n-drop function is anywhere on that product either.

I guess I could pay for the serial number upgrade, and then download Nero6. That's $40 USD tho... Or I could just burn my disc the ol' fashioned way with Nero, right?

Check the site again.... if you have an OEM version, it used to be $17 for a new serial number to "unlock" it so it will recognize all optical drives in your system (and that is supports...) Hopefully it hasn't gone up that much in recent months...

I can't seem to find just an unlock key. Everything points to the Nero6 upgrade. I can't find a spot in the software that offers purchase of a new cd key either. dunno...

Wow... I just check them out and I see what you mean. You may have to email them to find out if it's still availible... sales@nero.com
