Poser help....

I have Poser 4 for XP and before it would work with out a problem but now when I start the program I get a message saying : You are out of memory. Please save your work and quit soon You may also need to increase the amount of memory allocated to Poser.
I get this message everytime I try to start the program. how can I increase memory to poser using XP. I have P4 2.4Gz with 1GB of ram. All other programs work fine. Just this one started doing this. I also reinstalled Poser a few time aswell.Didnt work

Do you have many background programs running?

Or, other graphics programs running?

I sometimes run into problems with I have bryce, poser, photoshop, my music playing and whatever background programs I have loaded all running at the same time.

[edit]: When you do have this problem, do you just restart or do a complete shutdown? A reboot won't help all that much as it doesn't completely clear all the RAM. You need to do a cold shutdown.

i copyed this from the poser web site at http://www.curiouslabs.com/ on the suport tab
When launching Poser, an error appears, " You are out of memory. You may need to increase memory allocated to poser.."
Download and apply the Poser 4.03 updater to your Poser installation.Poser 4.03 updater

If you are using Poser 3, there is no fix for this problem. A possible work around would be to remove RAM until the total amount installed = < 1 GB. The answer would be to upgrade to Poser 4.03. Poser 3 owners are eligible for the upgrade.

Please visit our web store at http://store.curiouslabs.com for ordering information
