I just got a XP machine in that booted with this error. It was in the task list, and the corresponding process was 'lsurf'. Google brought up nothing on the error, or the process. It must be too new. Anywho, I unchecked an entry in the startup tab in msconfig, restarted and the message was gone. The entry was 'Digital Line Detect' and was found in c:\Progra~1\Digita~1\DLG.exe .
