Need to make a .img
I need a program that can make .img files from a whole folder, from my hard drive. Any recommendations? (preferably free or shareware)

I don't know of any free utilities that do imaging, but you can try Norton Ghost or PowerQuest's Drive image pro.

If it's a file in the "img" format you're wanting to create, it seems to be a proprietary format of "Digital Gem" software: http://www.asf.com/gallery/gem

i'm not talking about pictures, i'm talking about disk images like cliff shown me. But I can't use the ones he gave me because they can only image the whole drive, I just want to do a folder.

may I ask why you want to do this, instead of just copying it to a cdrw

I have no disks at the moment, and i have alcohol 120%, so i could just run it from my hard drive if i made an .img file. The reason im doing this is because i have a game thats been scratched, and the only part that seems to be corrupted is one of the videos, and i managed to find the videos online. So i copied the files to my hard drive, then deleted the corrupted, replaced them, and now i just need to make them into a .img.
