Boom quicktime not working

Hellow everyone. Ihave installed quicktime in my thinkpad 600x many times and cant get it to work properly, after I install quicktime I try to start it and get a message saying that it has performed a illegal error and must be shut down, this is the "detals' from the illegal error. QUICKTIMEPLAYER caused an invalid page fault in
module QUICKTIME.QTS at 0167:00f1753c.

What O/S? What version of quicktime?

Have you run adaware, spybot and updated AV software?

You could try the Quicktime Alternative Player ,see if that works:

i tried spybot and ad aware but they dident help, im getting the same error. im going to try the alternet Players. im using win98Se and the quicktime version is the one strate from their download page so its a new version
