what is .nrg file?
What is it? How to play/open it? Everytime I double click, a command prompt open and closes. Thats it. I have nero 5.5

".nrg" is Nero Burning ROM's native CD image file. You can use it to burn a CD from Nero (File>Burn CD Image in version 5.xx or Recorder>Burn Image in Nero 6.xx).
If you wish to recover files from the image, you can open it using a tool such as ISOBuster(www.isobuster.com) or WinRAR 3.2 (www.winrar.com). |

You can even mount it as a "soft" CD using a tool like Alcohol 120%. Create a virtual CD Drive in Alcohol and mount the Image to access it just like a "hard" CD from My Computer.
