Outlook 2003 Won't connect

Hello;
I just changed out my Linksys router model BESFR41 to the BEFW11S4 and all is well except this 1 thing. I use my companies VPN software to tunnel into our network and Outlook 2003 to do company e-mail, which is a microsoft exchange server. With this new router Outlook just sits there trying to connect and sometimes eventually connects and more often than not either goes offline or I have to end it thru the task manager. Last night just to pinpoint the trouble I put the old routerback in place and Outlook connected right up. I also scanned all the settings on the old router and can find no differences in my settings on the new router. I'm using Verizon PPPOE DSL. I get the login box when I open Outlook, aftre connecting the VPN software, and if I type a wrong password it comes right back and prompts me for the right one, and I can access all other company related things I need to over the VPN connection, in fact most things seem even a bit faster, just this one glitch with Outlook...This is from my desktop which is still using a wired connection. I did notice that from my laptop thru the wireless I connected right in to everything with no trouble, only difference is the laptop is now going to use the wireless card and has Outlook 2000 on it, and with the laptop I log completely onto the domain, but like I said I can put the old router back and desktop Outlook goes fine. I'm thinking of chaining the routers togother and using the old one for internet and the new one for just wireless....

OK; Well just did as I was thinking to do and I've just chained the two routers togother, putting the new one with wireless access here upstairs and just linked it to the uplink port of my original router and will use the original router for WAN access and the new one for wireless access and it works fine even for internet acess on the wireless PC's...
