Formatting second hard drive in XP?

Hi all,

I recently reinstalled Windows XP on a computer with two hard drives. Now I only see one hard drive (C) in My Computer but I can see the second drive in Device Manager. I think I remember having this problem before and I need to format the second drive. Does anyone know how to format the second drive that is not visible in My Computer.

Thanks for any advice.

control panel > administrative tools > computer management. Look for disk management under storage.

Thanks force_flow2002,

Once in disk managemen, right click in the window of the drive to be formatted and choose new partition. Then follow prompts for primary, size, drive letter and file system. Formatting will begin and the percent formatted will be shown in the window for the drive being formatted.
