This is some malicious spyware!!!
I have a computer that had CommonName installed on it. I purchased and downloaded SpyHunter after SpyBot failed to clear it up. SpyHunter found over 200 registry entries that SpyBot didn't pick up. Unfortunatly, it has failed to clear up Common Name. If I boot into safe mode, and run it, it finds some CommonName, about:blank, etc., which I think are the same spyware (CommonName). I delete them, boot into normal mode, and within 5 minutes, IE opens up, and a bar appears that says 'Bar updating'. i close IE, and the next one that opens up has that stinkin search bar!! What can I do?

Thanks morriswindgate. It never appeared in my Add/Remove programs list. Should I buy Xblock? Will that program get rid of it? I just paid $30 for SpyHunter, I don't want to spend another $40 for something that won't work either. Thanks.

If the trial got rid of it don't worry about it.
