A couple problems I cannot figure out

1. When I open IE the window is never maximized. I have opened it, maximized the window, closed it, opened it. It still doesn't open maximized. This is getting annoying.

2. My computer has amnesia. Seriously, I will be in my hotmail inbox and click on a message and it asks me to sign in. So I sign in and all is going well. Then a few minutes later it wants me to sign in again. It's not just Hotmail but other websites. Even PCMech. It doesn't remeber anything.

at the very top of your desltop look for a small brown box just to the left of your mimixe bar and click on it,
I think it may have something to do with hydravision.

For #1, try right clicking on IE's icon, and select "Run Maximum" instead of "Window" or other choices.

#2 sounds like you have cookies set to off. Try setting it to on, but block "3rd party" cookies. Works for me.

Thank you. I think your solution to #1 worked. However, #2 is still in the air. I have tried it with it set to "accept all cookies" and it still doesn't work.

I don't think so. What is a "panic" setting and what is an example of one of those programs?

I believe Tweak UI has a setting where it cleans out you cache and cookies and the like when you exit windows. Win XP may even have a setting build in.. but I can't remember for sure right now. There are 3rd party utilities that will "hide your tracks" on your local machine but removing that sort of stuff. Can't remember any exact program names, as I never paid any attention to them...
