Will This Work?

I recently aquired a copy of Microsoft Works v1.0 can I transfer files written in its word processor to MS Word 97 or later?

When you first install Word 97, you are given a range of options, especially in a custom install. One of the options is for text converters. Seems like I do remember one there for Works 1, but I'm not sure it's in the default "Typical" install.

You can simply try it out, and if it doesn't work, try running the Word97 setup again, which should allow you to add a component such as an extra text converter.
