boot disc?
Hi- i have a couple simple questions. im a first time computer builder and am ready to start up for the first time. i was not planing on putting an A drive in and was wondering if i can do a boot disk from my cd rom drive. Also im going to use win2000 in the new box and am using win98 in my current one. can i use a boot disk from win98 to initalize a win2000 system? sorry for the noob questions, and i apprecieate any help.

WIN2000 CD is bootable. You don't need the WIN98 boot disk. Plus you would probably want to use NTFS with WIN2000 and WIN98 bootdisk can only create and format FAT32 partitions. Just set boot order to boot from CD as first boot device.
