Pissed Emergency! Windows won't start!

Heres the situation,

Being paranoid my hdd would fail on my new comp, I went out and bought Norton Ghost 2003. I was ready to back up my C: drive so the program rebooted into DOS. As the ghost program starts in DOS, the whole thing freezes! After a while, I restart my comp. At the DOS, I am prompted for two options:

1)Go into Ghost (DosMode)
2)Restart into Windows

If I choose the first option, the programs freezes again!
If I choose the second mode, nothing happens!

All I get is the message
"Internal Stacks Overload. System halt."

Did GHOST delete my c: drive??!! I am pretty sure I did everything correct as I read the manual and all.

Please... someone help if they can... I am sweating bullets.
