New computer and DLS settings
Im getting a new desktop (winxp) to replace my old Win98SE beast. I have DSL with a wi-fi network. The 98SE machine is hooked up to the modem/router. Do i have to save any settings onto some sort of a disk or should I jsut hook up my xp box to the cat5 from my router and that'll do??
Thanks a lot Fastfly7 |

you dont have to save any setings from the 98 computer first you will have to instal the drivers for the modem then run the network setup wizard on the new desktop affter it finishes run it on the laptop as well turn on internet conection shairing on the desktop so that the laptop can conect to the internet as well
