Any Microsoft Excel Experts Out There!
I have a problem that's been bugging me for weeks I can't figure out what's wrong!
I'm working on some paperwork for my workplace and this is what I'm doing: There are 3 rows(5,6,and7) and I want to delete the gridlines from margin to margin. I want it to be clear no vertical or horizontal lines whatsoever. Just on those 3 rows and I can't figure out how to do it. Any help would be appreciated Thanks |

Make the fill color of the cells white, this is the same feature you'd use to make a cell yellow or whatever, just choose white instead.

Even better:
Select the rows you want to render borderless in either of the following ways: a) click and drag to select the actual cells b) click the first row button (eg Row 3, and drag down to select the adjacent lower rows) Next, set the row borders as follows: a) Right click in the selected area and select FORMAT CELLS>BORDERS and then set the upper and lower borders to the color and thickness/style you want. b) On the Formatting toolbar (View>Toolbars>Formatting) click the third button from the right end and select the option to show upper and lower gridlines (3 right, 2 down) Last edited by pillainp; 01-23-2004 at 01:19 PM. |
