What are the differences between office software (2000, XP, 2003)?
If I already have office 2000, is there any reason to get XP or 2003 for normal home/school use with XP home?

Office 2000 has become a standard. That's not likely to change anytime soon. Unless you are looking for spececific features that are available in Office XP or 2003, stick with Office 2000.
Btw, Office 2003 was so buggy, early versions were shipped with a Service Pack CD.
