I have several files on a CP/M computer in wordstar. I don't know what formatt they are in but I want to convert them to ASCII format so that A friend of mine can convert them to microsoft word files. How do I do that?

If you can print them out, try scanning them and use OCR (Optical Character Recognition). It might be easier.

Just curious, doesn't Word have an import converter for that?? WordPerfect can. Know anybody with WordPerfect?

A program like Quickview Plus will let you open most files. Then you can copy and past from there.

Word has a Wordstar converter, but it needs to be installed, as it is not selected by the Default installation.
